With health and safety an ever increasing consideration
in all aspects of daily life, from building sites, offices
environments, schools and even at home, a basic knowledge
of health and safety legislation is now required by everyone.
General
Knowledge – Health &
Safety
drivewise offers
a basic course that introduces all staff to concepts
of health and safety legislation and how it affects
them. The course explains the detail and
effects of the various Acts of Parliament pertinent
to health and safety in the workplace. A series
of exercises and group activities enables staff
to understand their responsibilities towards themselves,
colleagues and members of the public. The course
advises how to deal with health and safety issues
and the onus of responsibility.

Advanced – Health & Safety
A more in depth knowledge, including the onus of responsibility
upon managers, directors and companies, is essential
for all persons in managerial capacity. For these
individuals and those members of staff with specific
responsibility for health and safety matters, we
offer a more technical and in depth training course
looking at risk assessment and how to identify
potential problems before they arise. We emphasise
the need for responsible assessment and how to
address potential problems.
